Geocaching

What is geocaching you ask? Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which you use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver to hide and seek containers anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and "treasure," usually toys or trinkets of little value. Some of our Skedaddle Ridge Trails People members have placed some geocaches around our network of trails for people to find. You can visit http://www.geocaching.com to learn more about geocaching. Our club geocaches are put out just prior to special events and the slips with the geocache co-ordinates can be obtained at our registration trailer.
